¿Como Están Fonz Fam?

Let me just say that time has never moved faster. I can't believe how fast the last 3 weeks have gone by. But I'm loving every second of it! On Thursday my district participated in what is called TRC. This is when native Latinos come into the CCM and pretend to be investigators. Sometimes they are, but most of the time they're members. My companion and I taught a lesson similar to that of a home teaching lesson. But of course it was solomente(only) in español because these volunteers knew absolutely zero english. It was really fun and pushed us both passed our comfort levels. It's these real life scenarios that seem to make me improve at a better rate.

On Saturday our whole zone(4 districts) met together to hear our zone leaders share some inspired thoughts. They felt impressed to talk about thriving to the end. By remaining focused and always pushing ourselves, we can progress as much as possible in the Gospel and in our language. For me, there are times of difficuilties that test my stamina, but every time I turn to the Lord for strength and comfort. And every time He is there to help me. Sunday's theme was the Atonement of Jesus Christ and Repentance. I learned a lot that day from my leaders during the different devotionals. I was reminded of the difficulty of the Atonement Christ performed for us, and how everyday I need to use this gift. I love my Savior and Heavenly Father so much, and I am honored everyday by being able to serve them.

Here is a part of my journal that I thought I might add, "...Everyday that I do this, prepare, I know I am blessed with more and more strength and knowledge. I learn of humility, patience, gratitude, courage, faith, hope, and love. I am here in the CCM to become better, to become closer, to obtain the most knowledge possible. Then, at the end of the six weeks, I will go into the world. Using my knowledge and testimony to bring God's children to Him. Yesterday I was, today I am, tomorrow I will be..."

My heart is so full of gratitude and peace for this Gospel. I feel your prayers and love and they give me strength to press on each day. Happy Birthday Bridger! I wish I could've been there because it sounds like you had an amazing day.
