Branson's Testimony (when he was 8 years old)
"I'd like to bear my testimony, I know this church is true.
I love my family. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet.
I believe in our Savior Jesus Christ. I'm reading the Book of Mormon
page by page and know this book is true. I'm excited to turn eight and
be baptized by my Dad. I'm thankful that Heavenly Father gave me my nice family
with parents who love me. I hope I can always remember to choose the right
so I can go to the temple and on a mission someday.
In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen."
A family email we sent Elder Fonnesbeck to receive the morning of Alexis' baptism, Sunday, Jan. 14th, 2018:
Dearest Elder Fonnesbeck,
Thinking of you on this very special weekend as you witness your friend Alexis get baptized. What a beautiful moment that will be for you, Elder Clark & Elder Moffat to witness along with many others who have influenced him to take this faithful step of baptism. We wish we could be a 'fly on the wall' too and show our support but please know we will be with you in heart. We are so proud of Alexis and our heart has been full all week as we read of his progress towards this event. He will never regret it, taking his time, developing his faith and setting this goal towards an eternal family of his own. You never gave up hope in him and neither did we at home. He has continued to be in our daily prayers and on the prayer roll in the temple. Enjoy these simple thoughts we wanted to share with you but haven't taken the time to put together til now.
Give Alexis an extra big hug from all of us! Enjoy this special day and we look forward to your report.
Love always, Fonnesbeck Family

This pic was shared on Facebook by Alexis to Elder Fonnesbeck. It is one of our favorite pics of his mission thus far. It represents pure JOY! Joy only our Savior, Jesus Christ & our loving Heavenly Father can provide. |
