¡Hola Fonzfam!
Well, with Mom and Dad in Hawaii and everybody left at home, we can probably say that our family hasn't ever been this spread out before. I hope Kauai is still as magical as the last time we all went there. Everyday I look at one of those photos of our family on my wall and it's all of us together during our vacation there over two years ago. To the kids left at home, know that my prayers are with you as you concur your everyday activities. Make sure everyone stays safe and that nobody does anything stupid haha.
Last night we had one of the most powerful visitor center lessons on my mission. We were able to take Rosa and her three kids with a member to learn and discover about eternal families. We did a fun scavenger hunt and went to the temple display and learned more about what's on the inside of one. We then went to the theatre and watched the video "God's Plan." It's a 20 minute video about a family going through their life with different struggles. At the end we looked over and saw Rosa crying. After a few moments she expressed her feelings of how she's been to many different churches but how only this one has something different. She could feel the Spirit and she wants that to always be apart of her life. We invited her to be baptized along with her oldest son, Eddie, and they both said yes. They are both willing to continue in growing their testimonies but need to change one more living arrangement to be fully ready. Our branch is in full support and have done a great job in fellowshipping Rosa and her family.
Earlier this last week we were walking around this trailer park, talking to everyone we saw. We spotted two Latino men working on their truck so we headed over to see if we could help. We struck up a good conversation and we were able to help them lift and bolt a large heavy metal frame to the back of their pickup that couldn't have been done without us. After finishing with the truck in the rain Jose invited us inside to wash our hands and to meet his wife. He invited us to come back next week and have dinner with his family. We know that from looking for every opportunity to serve, it has opened so many doors that have allowed us to share our message with those we otherwise wouldn't have been able to talk to.
Another cool miracle from this week happened when we went to a scheduled lesson and the family wasn't there. Disappointed we then went around their complex and talked to people on the street and knocked a couple doors of past investigators. After an hour we were heading to our car when we spotted a Uhaul truck. It's always a great thing to look for as missionaries because it's such an easy way to offer service. So we took about another 15 minutes with those people before once again leaving to our car. Now this is where God's hand comes in: the family we originally came to see just arrived from being out and we caught them at the perfect moment. We went over and said hola and they invited us in to share our message. They are excited to learn more about what our message can bless their family with and we have another lesson in a couple days. I know that there are no such things as coincidences but that everything happens for a reason. God is always working through His Spirit to inspire His willing servants to bless the lives of others. This is the way prayers are answered. When we choose to live the commandments and align ourselves with Him, we will be ready to be that tool in God's hands. I know it to be true and it is the best feeling to be able to recognize those opportunities.
This week has been fun as we continue to march forward towards to Mother's Day and the end of the school year. I love you so much and miss you everyday!
Love,

We found another narley van. Sorry Mom, but this one is not for sale;)
Rosa and her awesome family was able to visit the temple last night.
There is nothing like seeing the awe on the face a child of God
who has seen His house for the first time.
Elder Montague seems to be a squirrel whisper.
